Polyamide appeared relatively recently - in the 60s of the last century. This is a popular fabric for active wear and also lingerie. This material is popular for its excellent durability, abrasion resistance - which is apparently 10 times higher than that of cotton fibre. For this reason, it does not wear out as often and it does not fade.
